1. The AD831 is a low-distortion, wide dynamic range, single-chip mixer, suitable for RF-IF conversion in HF and VHF receivers, second mixer in DMR stations, DC baseband conversion, and quadrature modulation and demodulation and frequency shift detection in ultrasound images and other applications. 2. The AD831 provides +24 dBm third-order intercept, which can achieve -10 dBm LO consumption. It does not require high LO drivers, and there are no corresponding shielding and isolation problems. Therefore, compared to passive mixers, it can improve system performance and reduce system costs. 3. The mixer is designed to be powered by a single power supply, and the RF, IF, and LO ports have DC isolation capacitors for ease of use.
