Air Travel Time Machine Volume 2

This Time Travel Time Machine Vol 2 is from 1960 to 1964 and continues a visual time-travel through the golden age of air travel, using rare Kodachrome slides taken by everyday travellers during the 1960s, when flying was new, glamorous, and reserved for the few. Collected over more than 30 years, these spontaneous images preserve lost airlines, aircraft, airports, and onboard experiences that can never be recreated and are now almost forgotten. This Volume 2 from 1960 -1964 picks where the now sold-out Volume 1 (1940s and 1950s) left off, as we continue our time travel look back at the formative and early days of air travel. The author spent the past thirty plus years sourcing random traveller Kodachrome slides depicting air travel when it was new and exciting, the domain of the affluent, when most people on the planet had not yet travelled by air.
