Breastplate

Saint Patrick of Ireland, born into British nobility and kidnapped into Irish slavery, was a man of tremendous courage and humility. He found his faith in bondage and used it to escape captivity, ultimately returning to a savage land to do the impossible: He brought Christianity to thousands of souls at "e;the edge of the world."e; His physical legacy, his own written words, are woven throughout Breastplate, bringing the ring of truth to this work of fiction. Here are pagans, pirates, Druids, schemers-as well as holy saints of the fifth century--all part of Patrick's remarkable true story.
