Dark Defender

The Sleeper is waking.Deep beneath the Forbidden City, ancient wards begin to fail. Defenders Xara, Briar and their allies race to uncover the truth buried beneath centuries of lies, that the prison they guard was built not to hold its prisoners but to seal something far worse. As cracks spread through the city's foundations, whispers rise from the cells, old powers stir and loyalties fracture. To save their world the defenders must risk everything and wield forbidden magic long thought lost. But the deeper they dig the clearer the truth becomes: the real enemy has been waiting all along. The seal was never meant to last. And when it breaks no realm will stand.
