Destroyer (2018) DVD (svensk text)

Directed by Karyn Kusama, Destroyer (2018) stars Nicole Kidman as a damaged Los Angeles detective forced to confront the consequences of a failed undercover operation from her past. The film follows her investigation into the return of a violent gang leader while trauma, guilt and obsession begin resurfacing across multiple timelines. Combining neo-noir crime storytelling with psychological tension and urban decay, the story explores corruption, revenge and personal collapse.Från IMDB: A disgraced, alcoholic detective on the skids (Nicole Kidman) gets a signal from a crime-boss she put away that hes out and coming for her. Damaged as she is, she goes in hard for one last ditch do-or-die shot at redemption -and revenge.
