Genesis

Beginning in 1794, Fuller's pulpit discourses were focused almost entirely on the Old Testament with his sermons on Genesis being the culmination of this concentrated expository reflection. As the introduction to this critical edition reveals, here we see a preacher at the height of his pulpit ministry who was passionate about searching the Scriptures for himself as well as indebted to the Protestant tradition of commentary on this foundational book of the Bible. Alongside the substantial study of this tradition and critical reflection on Fuller as a biblical expositor, this new edition of Fuller's commentary on Genesis is richly annotated for ready understanding of what Fuller thought about the various narratives in the Bible's first book.
