Hoard Sweet Hoard

For three thousand years, Kallistea guarded her hoard on a frozen mountaintop and never once slept well. Now she wants just one thing: a warm, sunny room in Seoul with a lock on the door, where no one can ever steal from her again. All she needs is a five-thousand-dollar deposit. So the ancient dragon takes the night shift at a corner convenience store under a human name, Na Yong. The rules are simple. Don't break the stock. Don't breathe fire. Don't let anyone find out what she is.Then a talking crow tries to steal her write-off lunch. A polite vampire comes in at two every morning for strawberry milk. And the new store across the street hires a clerk who works the register in full plate armor, because he is a real hero, and he came to Seoul to slay a dragon. He has no idea she's standing right across the street.Hoard Sweet Hoard is a humorous cozy fantasy about a dragon who came down the mountain to finally rest and found neighbors instead.
