Life and Writing of Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron was a Jill of all trades whose resumé included work as a journalist, novelist, playwright, essayist, screenwriter, director and producer. She’s best known for her work on movies such as “When Harry Met Sally,” “Sleepless in Seattle” and “Julie & Julia.” But she was equally beloved in various circles as a feminist writer, unapologetic memoirist, energetic hostess and devoted friend. This e-single, comprised of articles from The New York Times archive, looks at Ephron’s life and work through the lens of The Times, where she was also a frequent contributor until her death in 2012.
