Lisbon, 1988

Lisbon, 1988. Seventeen-year-old Tomás Ferreira lives in the shadow of his father's appliance-repair shop, trapped between the hum of soldering irons and the soaring melodies in his head. When his older brother suddenly abandons the family, Tomás is forced to step into a life of duty he desperately tried to escape.Between the gritty reality of family debt and the neon-soaked promise of local underground music, Tomás faces the ultimate question: can he build the life he wants without destroying the one that raised him? Alongside his best friend Inês and a band of misfits, Tomás navigates first love, the weight of expectations, and the realization that becoming an adult isn't about running away-it's about finding the frequency where your dreams and your roots finally harmonize.Set against a vibrant, changing Lisbon, LISBON, 1988 is a tender, cinematic coming-of-age drama about the friction between who we are and who we choose to become. It is a story for anyone who has ever had to fix what was broken before they could start their own song.
