With its well-balanced shape, durable materials, and distinctive design, the M-Tac Type 12 Scandinavian is well suited for everyday use in a wide range of conditions. The blade is made of D2 steel, an alloy containing carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum. This combination provides high hardness, good corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention, helping the blade maintain sharpness during long-term use. The handle is made of G10, a high-strength composite material based on fiberglass, impregnated with epoxy resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is known for its durability, low weight, and resistance to wear. The handle surface is decorated with artwork inspired by the Northern Sea, a legendary drakkar ship, and the “Helm of Awe” rune. These elements give the knife a distinctive appearance and emphasize its character. In the open position, the blade is secured by a steel liner integrated into the handle. This locking system, known as a Liner Lock, is simple, reliable, and widely used in folding knives. A pocket clip is installed on the handle for convenient everyday carry.
