Often compared to Friday the 13th, the film has gained a devoted cult following as one of the early 80s body-count slashers. Arrow Films THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE ALONE. Thus the camp counsellor finishes his tale, closing with the warning never to say Marz s name above a whisper, lest the hideously-deformed farmer comes looking for them.
