Mantsinen takes on the world, The Story of Family-Owned Company

Join MANTSINEN on a journey to take on the world! The book tells the story of Jussi and Veli Mantsinen, the founding brothers of Mantsinen Group Ltd Oy. Over the years, the farmer brothers from Kenraalinkylä, Värtsilä in North Karelia built a global export company in logistics and material handling through their persistent hard work and innovative solutions. Many events have shaped the company's development. Every step forward and every innovation has made its mark. The story is told very much as the interviewees see it, and while the book was being written, the timing and sequence of events over the decades were subject to much debate. The faster the pace of change at the time, the more challenging it was later to tie up the threads of the tale. So thank you to everyone who was interviewed for sharing your own memories and stories. Over the decades, you have made our story richer, bringing more nuanced perspectives to this history. In the brothers' own words: "we have taken good-sized steps forward, and we have done so often."
