Mucha: Reverie (Foiled Journal)

Combining high-quality production with magnificent fine art, the covers are printed on foil in five colours, embossed then foil stamped. And they're powerfully practical: a pocket at the back for receipts and scraps, two bookmarks and a solid magnetic side flap. These are perfect for personal use and make a dazzling gift. This example features the sumptuous Alphonse Mucha image Reverie. Mucha produced this popular decorative panel in 1897, a variation of an original artwork commissioned by Champenois for a calendar titled 'Daydream'. Gazing out at the viewer, the young woman sits with an open book on her lap, wearing a flowing dress with voluminous sleeves in the Byzantine style. Such an enchanting illustration epitomizes Le Style Mucha.
