Seastar Hydraulic Steering System Bleed Kit Fill Kit Bridge Tube + Hose (BT)

Used to refill the boat's steering fluid system. Advantages 1. Used to refill the boat's steering fluid system. 2. Standard Seastar rudder to bottle connection - do not puncture the bottle 3. Custom bridge tube connects bleed ports on the steering cylinder. Installation instructions: 1. Attach the bottle to the rudder reservoir (do not puncture the bottle) (do not let the bottle run empty) 2. Connect the bridge tube to the bleed fittings on the steering cylinder and loosen/open the fittings. 3. Use the rudder to pump fluid through the system by turning the wheel in one direction. Air bubbles will be pushed to the reservoir at the rudder. 4. Manually turn the outboard motor through full articulation to relieve trapped air and confirm good bleeding. 5. Note: Directing the bleed fittings upwards while pumping fluid with the rudder allows air to flow out of the cylinder. 6. Repeat 3-4 as needed until no air is visible in the bridge tube. 7.
