Sister of Ash

Ria didn't board the merchant ship Gilded Gull to become a hero; she just wanted to escape her brutal past as a highly trained assassin of the Silent Isle. But when the ruthless Corsair King shreds her ship with black-powder cannons, Ria washes ashore on the Seikyo Isles-an isolationist, rigidly honorable nation that views all mainlanders as a threat to be executed.
