The goblin arcanist

Chūba was never meant to be more than a village mage, learning under the wisdom of the local Ritemaster. But when his home is razed and his people scattered, he is thrust into a world where magic is both revered and feared. Taken under the wing of an enigmatic Imperial mage, Chūba must navigate the treacherous halls of an academy where goblins are barely tolerated, and power is a game played by the elite. With spells that push the limits of his control, allies he cannot fully trust, and enemies watching his every move, Chūba must decide: will he play the game of mages and lords, or will he forge his own path - one that might just change the world forever? A tale of resilience, arcane intrigue, and a goblin's fight for his place in a world that belittles him, The Goblin Arcanist is a gripping fantasy adventure filled with political scheming, dangerous magic, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship.
