The Lost Boys (1987) Directed by Joel Schumacher, The Lost Boys stars Jason Patric and Corey Haim as brothers who move to a California beach town where a local gang hides a vampire secret. Kiefer Sutherland, Dianne Wiest, Corey Feldman and Jami Gertz co-star in a cult 1980s vampire film mixing horror, teen attitude, dark comedy and rock-video style. The film became one of the defining vampire titles of the 1980s and remains closely associated with teen horror and cult genre cinema. Lost Boys: The Tribe (2008) Revives the vampire saga with a new group of surfers in a California beach town falling under the spell of a vampire coven. Continuing the mix of teen horror, bloodsucking action, and cult nostalgia, it expands the mythology of the original while adding a modern twist. Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010) Follows vampire hunter Edgar Frog as he investigates a deadly rave where a vampire drug is turning partiers into the undead. Balancing comedy horror, vampire action, and cult sequel energy, it closes the trilogy with a return to the franchises quirky horror roots.
