Whilst at college in Tokyo, Hana (voice of Aoi Miyazaki) meets and falls in love with Kare (Takao Osawa). She does not know that he is a werewolf but is undeterred when he reveals the truth to her. They have two children together, Yuki (Haru Kuroki) and Ame (Yukito Nishii), but their hopes of a happy life are lost when Kare dies in a tragic accident. Left with two temperamental children to raise - both of whom possess the ability to switch between their human and wolf forms at will - Hana faces a daunting challenge. Meanwhile, as Yuki and Ame grow older, they must decide how they wish to live their lives.
